Kiki glanced around the area, taking in the grassy plains and breathing in the fresh, warm summer night's air. She sat atop the horse she had always been closest with, Soxy. Soxy shook his head with a sneeze, causing Kiki to let out a small laugh. The ears of the summon swiveled back towards his master, slightly annoyed by the disturbance. Kiki glanced back at the village on the horizon, fireworks shaped of dragons, dolphins, and various other creatures jumping through the sky. Not turning her head forward, she dismounted from Soxy's saddle and gently stroked his neck and sighed slightly.
"Why did I even start that festival? I knew it would bring trouble..." Kiki muttered to no one in particular. She plopped onto the ground, still looking towards the village... her village... and then craned her neck so she was facing the moon. "It's beautiful... Lighting up the sky so we can see even in the night. Always a beacon of hope. If only..."
Kiki stood up suddenly, and quickly allowed Soxy to become unsummoned. She looked around, feeling something unsettling in the pit of her stomach. "Something's coming... Maybe whatever will happen... will cleanse me and make me a better person. We'll wait and see, won't we?"
((x.x.. No, you aren't supposed to understand it. And don't post here unless I talked to you previously. You know who you are.))

Saya moved silently through the darkness. It was her world and she owned the night. Hey eyes were a soft amber, reflecting off the moon and glowing a faint gold. It would look enchanting almost if she had not come on a different business. She would not kill, but in a way it would just end up killing. Saya breathed in through her nose and exhaled from her mouth, knowing battling a kage would never end up being easy. But Hokage Kiki was alone, and this would be her chance to catch the hokage without the security...it was for Kaeor.
Saya's eyes began to change from that golden glow to a bright crimson, even glowing in the night, reflecting her changing expression and even person. Saya's heart began to beat less fast and return to normal, her breathing calming down, and her entire body changed to that of a warriors, ready to fight and attack.
Saya slowly came up to Kiki and stood with chimegami in her hands stretched out in front of her, preparing for the fight, "I hold no hate towards you Kiki of Konoha...it is neccesary for the one I follow under to capture you and extract the beast within you." Saya pulled on the blade, releasing it from the lock and pulled the blade out slowly, "I am sorry if this hinders your plans of the future dear hokage."

Kiki smirked as she let her eyes wander towards the voice and source of the sound. She didn't bother turning her entire head, and moevd her eyes so they were facing forward again. "Akatsuki, eh?" she sighed, closing her eyes gently and slowly. "Too bad I'll have to kill you. I regret killing someone so young and foolish." Kiki opened her eyes. "If only I hadn't used so much chakra manipulating that flame..." she muttered under her breath, quietly enough so only she could here herself speak.
"I'm surprised you came alone. Don't you power-hungry fiends usually come in pairs?" Without waiting or expecting an answer, Kiki turned to face her opponent. She yawned daintily, covering her mouth like a "proper lady", then bowed slightly. "I hope you're ready to die."

Saya looked at Kiki and did not even speak when she asked about her being in Akatsuki, nor did she even react when she said she would have to kill her. That would never happen. So long as Kaeor lived, she lived. It was that simple. Saya pulled chimegami completly from the blade and brandished it in front of her, crouching down and placing it in front of her. This time she did not apply her blood onto the sword, 'I must capture her alive...for Kaeor.'
Saya merely grunted at Kiki's words and shook her head, "My partner is our leader and he did not see himself fit to come...he had other plans so he asked me. Trust me when I say that I will not die. I am hungry yes, but not for power...but for something much more important to me. I will not die until I get my dream." Saya felt her legs crouch and prepare for the initial attack, "Please do not mock me, if you give up now we do not have to fight and your death will be painless...I only wish what will be the least painless for you and me."

[ooc]Sorry it took so long.[/ooc] Kiki raised her eyebrow with a look of surprise. This criminal felt high and mighty enough to declare that she could defeat the Hokage. "The leader's partner, eh? Maybe I'll have the smallest amount of difficulty, then. I'm going to want to protect my hands," she said, pulling out a pair of dark brown gloves from within the folds of her dress, exposing the soft tan of her skin at the thigh. Kiki knew she wouldn't have the normal advantage of attacking mentally, without the use of chakra. As she pulled the gloves over her fingers and onto her hands, they seemed to clamp over her skin.
Kiki fiddled gently with the edge of the gloves as she looked back at the Akatsuki woman. Let's hope this goes quickly. I'll need good sleep for finishing the festival tomorrow night. She let out a sigh and crossed her arms, looking bored. "You have something to live for. A dream. That's a mistake, and it will only slow you down. Whatever... or whoever... it is you live for, I'll make sure to destroy that once I'm done with you. I'm sure they'll be just as easy."

Saya growled at the mention of Kaeor's strength being mocked, "Don't you dare mock him!" Saya threw her sword away from her and twisted the blade up facing the nights sky. The moon light glimmered off of the soft light and shone all the way down to the tip of the blade where it glimmered and disappeared when the sword flung down to her side with her palm against her hilt. She hissed at Kiki, "I live for my dream because I was robbed of it when I was born. Now I will have it for myself while I am alive and no one will stop me. I know all about what happened earlier. You are only at half strength while I am at full in the night."
Saya used her simple speed, traveling so fast that the ground beneath her rose up and formed a large patch of dust. Saya's sword was pressed against Kiki's throat, the tip barely touching but not enough to draw blood, "I am not going to kill you, but I will take you in and take the bijuu out of your body if I have to cut off your hands and feet and drag you if you dare question my dream or leader." Saya's eyes began to glow a deeper red when the tip of her sword drew a small amount of blood that dripped down the sword. Saya felt a small rush from seeing the Hokage's blood, her mouth opened to reveal her fangs, "Are you still going to act cocky you stupid whore. You are not even able to lead a village let alone try and stop me."

[ooc]1000th post!![/ooc]
Damnit! Kiki thought. She knows she has the advantage... I guess even I can't break the will of this fool. Kiki jumped backwards, away from the sword, as soon as the slightest amount of blood had been drawn. She pulled her hands together in a handseal, lowering her eyes for a moment. "Kyakkaryouran!" Flower petals appeared and began to dance around Saya, creating a dome around the Akatsuki-nin. Kiki smiled and disappeared into the flowers, pulling out a kunai as she did.
"Catch me if you can," Kiki laughed as she became entirely hidden from view. She continued to move through the petals, coming out only to slash at Saya, then disappearing again as if she had never been in view. She remained hidden in the flowers, and stopped coming out after a few seconds, remaining within the petals to decrease her chances of being caught. I've got to be less hasty... I can't use chakra as I please this battle. I've got to plan carefully, or I might as well have lost.

Saya watched Kiki jump back from the blade and pull her hand together in a handseal. The various hand seals began to come into a jutsu that she had in inherit ability to understand. She often looked towards the petals that began to form around her that soon began to form hundreds of petals and formed a dome she could not see out of. Saya's mouth opened in a wide grin of pleasure. This woman thought to block her sight? Saya crouched and loooked around as fast as she could, keeping an eye out for whatever was to come. She could practically feel the presence of Kiki, but her heartbeat gave her away. Although Saya could not hear the kage's feet of movements, she could hear that constant beating.
Saya turned when Kiki camt out to slash, averting the strike and trying to fight back, but she was not attacking as fast as she really could. Then Kiki stopped and her heart beat slowed a little, making it so that the constant beating was harder to track. The enemy was slowly beginning to calm down. Saya shook her head and jumped through the petals, "You should not have stopped moving!" Saya yelled out as if challenging Kiki to test her survival skills, all speed and strength put behind her attack, her sword jabbing straight towards Kiki's shoulder. She could not kill the woman, but wounding her would be just as good.

Kiki took a deep breath once she had fully stopped and the flowers began to disperse, then gasped as Saya's blade came towards her suddenly. She gasped, the blade piercing her shoulder and she winced, the sudden pain gripping her body. As soon as her concentration was broken, the pedals disappeared and seemed to turn to air. Kiki stepped backwards rapidly, letting the blade slide out from her shoulder and she jumped a few feet back, widening the gap between her and her opponent. Shit... Now my chances of winning this battle are even less. And I haven't even considered my chances of living...
Kiki brought her hands together in another handseal, and the earth around Saya rose up, trying to trap the girl within the earth. "Tsuchi Nottori!!" Kiki moved her hand back to her shoulder, trying to stop the blood as best she could, but she knew the wound would need to be dressed soon, or it would become a problem.
[ooc]And they become shorter yet...[/ooc]
