Gender: Male
Village:Kirigakure
Height: 5’7”

Bloodline: Kontan-Mizu Asshuku

His eyes are a bright cerulean blue, often compared to the water produced by Suijin; the god of water in ancient legends. They are hypnotic and often piercing at the same time. However, only one eye is visible most of the time, as his hair covers one of them. It is kept short and spiked in the back while ir grows longer in the front. His hair is textured and layered, giving it a jagged appearance that drapes over his left eye while the right one remains visible. He has a narrow face with a well defined jaw line that leads into his narrow neck and slender body. His clothing is just as interesting as his hair. His torso is covered by a sleeveless white shirt that is nearly fitted to his body shape, with enough room to breath in. However he covers his forearms with a large number of heavily weighted silver bracelets. As for his pants, he wears a pair of dark blue shorts that end at about the top of the shin. A kirigakure headband is worn around the waist as a belt; however the Kirigakure symbol itself has a large gash through it. Haihei wears a pair of wooden flip flops instead of the traditional zori style ninja sandal. Another defining feature is a tattoo of the Japanese kanji for the number one at the base of his neck on the right hand side. Finally, his weapon, Akashita is kept at the back of his waist, the black of the sheath balancing the white of his shirt.
Special Item: Akashita
Rank: S-Rank Criminal
History: Haihei was born into the Ryoutekiki Clan of Kirigakure through his parents Saisei and Ichijin. Haihei was raised kindly and with much love as a child. He was taught good manners, and was told to address all that he met with the proper titles. He was also never much of a trouble maker; staying out of trouble. As a result his parents were often complimented on how well mannered and polite he was.
At about the age of five he discovered that he had a unique ability. He could multiply and condense water molecules in the air to create bodies of water. His parents took notice. He was the youngest member of the family to ever learn how to use this ability. They quickly and sent him to his grandmother and she quickly began to teach him how to work this new ability. It was often difficult but fun for Haihei. However, it subtracted from him having many friends as he grew older.
He was quickly enrolled in the Ninja academy. His instructors took notice of how talented the young boy was. He passed all of his exams, and had nearly no trouble learning the techniques that were placed in front of him. He quickly began to be called a prodigy amongst his peers. During these days in the Academy he also took private lessons from his Grandfather who ran a dojo for sword play. There were many styles available for Haihei to choose from. There was Battoujutsu, Kendo, and many more. However, Haihei took a liking to one of the more difficult and unique styles; Iaido. It was the style of unsheathing a sword, striking, and re-sheathing the blade. It was incredibly difficult to learn, but Haihei picked up on the basics very quickly. He was moving on to the more advanced techniques at a rapid pace. His grandfather began to add weighted bracelets around Haihei’s wrists and ankles to increase his grandsons’ abilities. Haihei continued work in the Academy and with his grandparents until he graduated at the early age of ten.
As a Genin Haihei was placed on the typical three man team; and was forced to work alongside two of his former classmates. They often looked down on him, due to their jealousy of a ninja that was younger and yet more skilled than they were. Despite Haihei’s skills, he was forced to perform simple D-rank missions. However the rate at which the team completed them was incredibly fast.
The team was quickly enrolled in the Chuunin exams. This exam was a simple tournament. All Haihei had to truly do was defeat all the opponents that came his way.
His first match up was form a former classmate of his. The crowd had already decided that Haihei would lose this match as he was much smaller than all of his fellow exam participants. The opponent was a stereotypical Genin. He was skilled in very few jutsus and his Taijutsu was limiting. As soon as the match began Haihei’s opponent was eviscerated. His body fell in several pieces. The only movement from Haihei was the delayed re-sheathing of his small blade as he stood with his back to the opponent. Somehow he had managed to get past the opponent and cut him into several sections in a matter of seconds. It was unheard of at such a young age. The crowd’s perceptions slowly began to change.
Haihei’s second match actually backed out of it after having seen his first battle. Haihei shrugged it off and continued for several hours watching the rest of the matches while he waited for his.
The young mist-nin’s final match up was different from his first two. His opponent was from the stone village. It was a ninjutsu user who was only slightly larger than Haihei was. The match began and immediately there was a clash of stone and water. A burst of stone stalagmites were fired towards Haihei quickly, only to be blocked by a hardened wall of water. The match went on for nearly five minutes until the arena was covered in puddles and stalagmites. That was when Haihei got an idea. Haihei attacked his opponent relentlessly, forcing him towards one side of the arena; the stalagmites all behind him. With an abrupt and unexpected burst of speed, Haihei moved behind the stone-nin. Just as he did, his hands aimed towards his opponent. An enormous force of water hurled his opponent backwards, ricocheting the ninja from Iwagakure off of nearly all of his own stalagmites. As the water that had just covered the arena began to clear, the body of the poor stone ninja reappeared. It was mangled and bruised. Several limbs were aimed in unnatural directions. The ninja had been crushed to death. Needless to say, Haihei was promoted to Chunin rank that day. However, the brutality and ruthlessness of his victories were not forgotten.
As a chuunin Haihei went on many missions. Most of them were above his rank, however with his improved bloodline and sword skills he managed to come out of each mission successful. He was quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with in the village hidden in the mist.
By the time Haihei was sixteen he had been promoted to Jounin rank. He was nearly done with mastering the nearly impossible Iaido style of fighting; and he had already complete control over his bloodline, almost more than his grandmother; the one teaching him. He was held in high regard within his family as the Ryoutekiki prodigy.
When Haihei was seventeen he had begun to request duels against other ninja in the village to test his abilities. More than most times the duels were simple fights to the death. One by one, Haihei began to defeat his opponents in organized fights. With each victory, Haihei would begin to wonder what would happen if he fought someone stronger than his previous opponent. He continued to work his way up the ninja food chain; challenging other Jounin, and even ANBU squad members. By the time he was eighteen he challenged and defeated the Mizukage’s bodyguard, taking his position from him.
From there Haihei then decided to train further. His new aspiration was to defeat the Mizukage in a duel. However he knew that he would need to be stronger. He took his training to a whole new level. His swordplay practice increased in intensity, and he improved his Jutsus; creating ones of his own. He continued to increase his abilities until he was twenty years old. He had then decided his techniques were nearly perfected. With one last day of training, he approached the Mizukage in his tower. With the utmost respect, he challenged the Mizukage to a duel to the death. At this request, several ANBU squad members charged Haihei, only to be cut down within a matter of seconds. The Mizukage turned and fled to the roof of his tower, his guards being killed left and right as Haihei hacked his way to the roof. The simple request for a duel had turned into an assassination attempt. As Haihei made it to the roof of the Mizukage’s tower the leader of the village turned to him and prepared for a fight.
The two ninja leapt into a fierce battle. It raged for a mere fifteen minutes before an enormous number of mist shin obi burst onto the roof of the tower. Even Haihei knew when he was outnumbered. He quickly turned and fled the tower. He had been appointed an S-Rank criminal for the attempted Assassination of the Mizukage. He was no longer a member of Kirigakure.
Within a few months of being on his own, Haihei had begun to think. He knew he was capable of defeating the Mizukage. However, if he was able of that, was he able of defeating the Kage’s of the other villages? As time passed he began to develop plans of his own. However he would need some assistance. He began to recruit other Missing-Nin of nearly the same skill as he. He called them the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. Once he had gathered enough people to join him, he began to put his plans into motion.
He is now twenty three, and his organization may be fairly small but is gaining a reputation of being a powerful group. They are well known for wielding enormous blades with them in combat. However only two or three members do not wield such blades. Either way, Haihei’s group is a force to be reckoned with.
Hobbies: Swordplay, swimming, fishing, meeting new people.
Personality: As a child, Haihei was raised with very good manners. As a result he always addresses others with the proper title, and introduces himself to anyone and everyone he meets. He is typically calm and laidback, not worrying about too many things. He doesn’t anger easily and is often found simply shrugging things off. However when he does get angry it is a sight to behold. He becomes cruel, vicious and violent. He has not problem scaring people into submission, as he has the power to back up any threats he makes. In combat he is confident in his skills, but still takes the opponent’s abilities into consideration. He kills quickly and viciously, but gives them the respect they deserve after their defeat; that is if he sees they deserve it.
