Rank: Jounin(Hunter-nin)
History: The Kaguyas have since the beginning of the Hidden Mist been a violent and warmongering clan that has often tried to pushed the Mizukages into fruitless wars. So growing up Ryiku saw the true result of violence all of his life as he watched all those in his clan fight among themselves and kill one another, this inspired him to the path of pacifism. Sadly in the Hidden Mist this is a concept that can lead more toward death than resolution when expressed.
As a child Ryiku was thrown into a twisted world created by his blood thirsty family members. Each day a funeral was attended for those that angered the clan's leader and Ryiku's uncle, Kaguya Kilaru. Each of the children in the large clan was taught that they had only three duties in life that they must fulfill. First was to follow the head families' instructions as best as humanly possible. Second, sire as many children as possible so that the clan may grow in size and thus in power. And Third, become powerful then kill the head family and replace them.
Knowing that his wishes would only lead him into pain Ryiku allowed his parents to enroll him into the Hidden Mist academy. There young Kaguya excelled beyond many of his peers in an art he hated. He learned quickly at how to manipulate water into deadly techniques and how to use even the simplest of objects to kill off his opponent. Ryiku, along with his twin sister, Kimiharu, went to the school during the day and then during the night would return to the Kaguya private compound to learn more on using their blood line jutsu. Kimiharu loved each moment of learning this deadly sport and like her brother excelled. So in a sick ploy to test her strength Kimiharu chose to fight her own twin for her genin exam. Ryiku's hatred for his family and his village only grew when he passed the exam and attended his sister's funeral the next day.
The skilled boy was drafted into team 11, a team that had lost one of it's members the following year in a large raid. In the team was the Jounin Han, their leader and instructor, then there was delicate Seri, the mistress of taijutsu, and lastly Juriki, the weapons expert of the group. Both Seri and Juriki were already Chuunin and thus out ranked the younger Ryiku. Despite the difference in rank Han trusted Ryiku the most and allowed him to lead the other two each time the group was divided. Soon Juriki and Seri came to respect the competent Kaguya and the group formed a friendship utterly unique in the Hidden Mist.
Even though he hated the village and it's ways, Ryiku was a natural in them and was promoted quickly to Chuunin when he entered the exams his first year as a genin. Being a higher rank was a phenomenal experience for most, but for the Kaguya boy it quickly led to a hellish nightmare. His gaining a rank meant that Ryiku and his team would now be able to take on harder missions. Han was so confident that he signed the team up for an a ranked assassination mission. Sadly the target had been tipped off by an informer in the Mizukage's office and had hired his own muscle from the Hidden Sand. In the chaos of team 11 failed attack Ryiku was able to kill the target and flee. He left behind Han, Seri and Juriki. He had let die all the good in his life that day.
Once he became a jounin the young pacifist realized his true goal in life after a failed attempt at suicide. Kaguya Ryiku would become the Mizukage so that he may truly rid the Hidden Mist of it's violent ways. He became a Hunter-nin as fast as he possibly could, figuring that it would at least allow him to kill the evil and the traitors instead of killing innocents of other villages. The other benefit was that he was able to gain in renown by becoming a Hunter-nin and be seen more often by the Mizukage. Once the kage realizes his skill maybe he'll be able to get a real chance at the Mizukage's rank.
Hobbies: Ryiku is an avid reader and will spend months worth of money just to get special addition books for his large collection. He also is starting to learn acupuncture in his free time between missions.
Personality: Kaguya Ryiku is calm and in most instances very passive about the way he is treated by others, even those that are weaker than him. Despite that fact Ryiku refuses to let others that he deems as good be wronged. He is a hopeless romantic and believes avidly that each person has their one true love, but his is just not in the brutal Hidden Mist Village. Since the age of eleven he has believed in pacifism but realizes that in this world violence is needed to maintain peace, so Ryiku fights so that future generations may be able to practice his beliefs on a larger scale than he ever could.
