History: Miki was raised into the Ashikahobi clan. As an infant he was treated with love and adoration. His family took great care of him, and his relatives cam to visit him often. All through the young age of three he was treated with great respect and love.
Once he was five years old he was sent to his grandfather. Miki had been born with the Ashikahobi clan bloodline. As a result he was to begin his training as soon as he could talk and walk. However, his parents decided to keep him a few extra years, putting him behind in his training.
Upon starting his training, he was quickly recognized by the elder clan member that ran the younger training sessions. Miki caught on very quickly, and even passed up his class mates, even though they were younger than he was. He quickly graduated to the next level of training, with children his own age. However, he even surpassed many of them with time. It began to circulate through the clan that there was a young boy who was quickly becoming one of the best students that the clan had ever seen. Miki continued his training, even through his time at the Ninja Academy. He was enrolled, and had a natural ability with Ninjutsu, and even Taijutsu. Many of his classmates envied his abilities, but very few hated him, he got along very will with many of the kids. As time passed, he graduated the Academy, becoming a Genin at the age of twelve.
As a Genin, Miki was split into a three man team of Genin. The team was well balanced, and performed many D-Rank missions. However, on occasion they would go out on a C-Rank. They always performed at top notch, and were soon enrolled in the Chuunin exams.
This exam was a tournament, winners became Chuunin, and the losers either died, or had to compete the following year.
Miki passes the first two fights with ease. He was able to defeat them by using his speed and natural gift for Ninjutsu techniques to his full advantage. However, his third match was much more difficult. It was against a Leaf-Nin who was highly skilled in Taijutsu. The crowd favored Miki to the Leaf-Nin, however, the fight did not quite go as many of the audience expected it to. The Leaf-Nin was just as fast as Miki was, but much stronger on a physical standpoint. The Miki quickly took to a hit and run attack method. He would strike quickly, and then back away from his opponent, taking the defensive. However, Miki quickly changed his strategy and took a much more violent approach. This beast of an enemy was taking too long to defeat, and Miki was becoming irritated. He then created a gravity field around the opponent, forcing his body to the ground. As the Leaf-Nin struggled to stand, Miki proceeded to clobber him with rocks and his feet. After a short while the Leaf-Nin lost consciousness, and Miki won his final battle. He left the arena as a Chuunin that day.
Soon after becoming a Chuunin, Miki began to take on much higher ranking missions, many of which he succeeded in without much trouble at all. He was quickly becoming one of the most well known ninja in the village. He was known by many as the prodigy of the Ashikahobi clan.
Despite all of the missions that Miki took by himself, there were some that required he work with a team. He had no initial trouble with these missions normally, however, one would change his life forever.
It was a rather difficult task, but it was not impossible. Miki and a squad of three other ninja were to infiltrate a castle, and assassinate two men who currently resided within. One of these targets was a Ninja from Iwagakure. He had been secretly observed stealing several of the Tsuchikage’s documents from the tower. He had then made his way to the Daimyo’s castle, where he and his employer were working on payment for these documents, as well as planning the next target of thievery. This ninja was a traitor to the village, and the Daimyo was in leagues with him.
After being issued the mission, Miki was one of the three Chuunin that were under instruction from a Jounin above them that were to complete this task. They infiltrated the castle late at night. They quickly scaled the walls and made their way to the Daimyo’s quarters. Through the paper door, a discussion could be heard between the Daimyo and another man, not the ninja they had come to kill. However, both of their targets were within the room. Miki and one other ninja were to find a route into the room through the ceiling, while the Jounin and other Chuunin remained hidden outside the only door into the room. After a few minutes of climbing through the scaffolding and woodwork, Miki and his assigned partner fell through the ceiling, as his two other allies stormed through the door. The Daimyo and his unnamed accomplice were quickly dispatched. However, the ninja was a much greater challenge. He actually managed to escape the small room, taking the fight to the roofs of the castle. He quickly exterminated the other two Chuunin that were in pursuit of him without much effort. It was now up to Miki and his squad leader. The two attacked relentlessly, using whatever they had at their disposal. However, this treacherous ninja was obviously a great threat. He managed to temporarily imprison the Jounin with a binding technique. While doing this, Miki attacked. However, with several extremely well placed Taijutsu techniques, the traitor rendered Miki’s arms almost completely useless, breaking nearly every bone in his arms. Just as he finished doing so however, the Jounin leader managed to break free of his temporary prison and keep Miki from being killed. However, their target escaped.
After returning to the Village, Miki was told that it would take several months to a year before he would be able to use his arms again. Miki was infuriated, how was he to be able to continue his training without his arms? Easy, Miki began work on his own personalized fighting style. Instead of using his hands to attack, he would use his feet.
Miki developed a style that would eventually be known as the Tsuki Akuto Jutsu or Moon Heel Style. The style focuses solely on the use of the legs and feet as melee weapon. Training started with the use of weights that caused Miki’s speed, as well as strength in his legs to be greatly enhanced. He even began to incorporate the use of his bloodline to his advantage. As is training and development of this style advanced with his arms still useless, he began to feel as though his arms were useless, they did him no good if they could not even protect him on that one mission. He wanted to make himself able to take out anyone without the use of his hands again.
After about a year, Miki’s arms were fully healed, and his style was nearly perfected. Conveniently, there was a small tournament being held for Chuunin advancement to Jounin ranking. Miki took this opportunity to test his new style as well as hopefully pass the exams and become a Jounin. The exams were once again another tournament. This time however, Miki took the exams by storm. His combined use of Ninjutu, and new Taijutsu fighting style, he easily defeated all of his opponents, becoming a Jounin with surprising ease. The Tsuchikage was happy to have this young man as a Jounin of the village.
As time passed, Miki grew more and more powerful and was even granted a position in the Tsuchikage’s personal guard. However, his failure on that mission so long ago often began to come back to haunt him. He would often remember his failure and embarrassing defeat against that lone ninja.
After a while, Miki began to train furiously. It was if it came out of nowhere. Those memories of him being defeated so long ago were beginning to get the better of him. He needed to be strong enough to never fail again. His training intensified, and he began to have a rapidly increasing success rate with his missions. Miki’s drive to become stronger kept growing, and with that he kept needing more knowledge on how to make himself stronger.
By the age of 22, Miki was easily one of the most powerful ninja in Iwagakure. However, he felt as though he had learned all that he could within the walls of Iwagakure. He decided to leave the village, but before he did so, he needed to challenge someone to a fight. If he won, he knew that he had mastered all that he could in this village. This man was his Grandfather, the elder of the Ashikahobi. He was easily an S-Rank ninja, however he had been inactive as such for quite some time. His grandfather accepted this invitation for a dual. He knew what he was getting himself into. They met in the center of their family’s land. A large Zen garden covered the are that they would do battle. They quickly took to battle. It was a long and difficult fight, lasting roughly twenty minutes before the Ashikahobi clan elder fell to his knees, lifeless.
With that final notion, Miki left the village of Iwagakure. He had learned all he could within those walls, and in his quest to gain more knowledge and power, he needed to leave.
Not long after leaving the village, Miki was approached by a man in a black cloak, covered in crimson clouds. He had an interesting offer. He offered Miki a place in his criminal organization known as the Akatsuki. If Miki accepted, he would be able to meet many new enemies and allies alike. All of them would be powerful, and good learning experiences for him. Even with the thought of this as a criminal organization didn’t bother the former stone-nin. After all, he would be wanted for murdering his own grandfather. Miki took the position without a second thought.
It has been two years since Miki received his very own black cloak with red clouds covering it. He is happily gathering the information he needs to become stronger. However, he still strives for even more.
Hobbies: Talking, cracking his knuckles, playing with his Bloodline, teasing his allies, fighting, winning, jumping around, kicking things.
Personality: Miki is not an inherintly evil person. As a matter of fact. He is one of, if not the kindest member of Akatsuki. It is simply his strive for power that makes him do things that many consider evil or wrong. He has a tendency to be sarcastic, which is often used to lighten the dark vibe that the Akatsuki often give of amongst themselves. As a result, he is often seen as a bit of a jokester, cracking sarcastic comments left and right. However, he knows when to stop, and when to be serious if the situation calls for it. The same apply for his personality in combat. However, this is also where his strive for power comes in. He feels he must defeat everyone that crosses his path, which often times slows down both him and his partner. However, he only fights though who he sees as worthy. As a result, if the opponent is not worth his time, he prefers to simply avoid combat all together, or knock them out instead of kill them, as they are only woth such a fate. In the long run though, he prefers to avoid combat with unworthy ones, as his good nature often prevents him from needlessly killing them.
